I’d have to say I … I’d have to say I think the most important tool for making matcha is the whisk, before i had one i was trying to use mixers and stuff, but nothing stacks up with an actual chasen for making matcha.
If you dont have a … If you dont have a whisk try a little water to make a paste then a little more stiring till all disloved. dont expect it to taste like a proper cup of tea , but you have to admire great marketing .
Glad to hear you’re … Glad to hear you’re getting into Matcha!
How does it taste? It has a very strong taste, maybe even a little bitter, but it’s really good. Yeah, ordering the whisk is a good idea. In the meantime, you may want to try using a “normal” whisk, or even better, one of those milk frothers.
Yeah I guess I … Yeah I guess I meant this whisk. The thing you stir with =]. I’m glad I watched this video. My Matcha arrived today and I was just doing to stir it with a spoon haha. So I guess I’ll order a Bamboo Wisk first. How does it taste? I’ve been dying to drink some!!
I think you are … I think you are referring to one of two things:
1) the “Chashaku” (which is the scoop)
2) the “Chasen” (which is the whisk).
Actually, both are made of bamboo.
And yes, you can drink matcha as soon as you’re done stirring

Yeah, you need the … Yeah, you need the whisk. A way to cut down on lumps is by straining your Matcha. If you have a little one, like stainless steal tea strainer, try using that!
